Chart
Play the recording at 1x or 1.5x. Rally In, Rally Out, then who won it and how: a winner, a forced error, a missed third. Tape keeps the side-out score under the clock, so a wrong tap shows and gets fixed by tapping it.
Rally 21 of 66. CH hit a winner. 4-3-2.
Built to be the easiest way to chart a pickleball game on your phone. A few taps a rally, no spreadsheet. Tape keeps the score and counts every miss and winner, player by player.
Chart your own games, then bring in your partner or your coach. They watch the rallies, draw on a frame and leave a note on the moment that matters.

These are 1,620 rallies from 29 games on 15 recordings, played Sep 30 to Oct 31 and charted by hand by one player. Your games will have their own numbers.
Every one of them was charted in Tape. Here's one of the games.
How the 1,620 rallies ended, in the order the squares sort them:
One game, Oct 14, Court 12: 66 rallies over 20 minutes. KR & CH won 29 of them and CK & DS won 36; one has no ending charted. Rally 15, the red tick, is the one where CH missed the fourth.
66 rallies over 20 minutes, charted from the club's camera. Each tick is a rally: above the line if KR & CH won it, below if CK & DS did. The red one is rally 15. Scroll to play it.
Oct 14 · Court 12 · 0:00.0

Rallies 20, 32, 37 and 66: the same miss. Five of CH's 17 errors in this game were the fourth shot. On the court, each one is just another lost rally.
CH · missed fourths: 5
Rally 15, 20, 32, 37, 66 of 66
Pick a player and an ending and that's a tape: every rally that matches, back to back, the stats on screen. This one is CH's missed fourths, five rallies, 37 seconds.

Play your recording on your phone. Mark each rally, say who ended it and how. Tape keeps the score, counts the misses and the winners, and makes the clip you want to send. Red is you. Cyan is your partner.

Its three chapters:
Play the recording at 1x or 1.5x. Rally In, Rally Out, then who won it and how: a winner, a forced error, a missed third. Tape keeps the side-out score under the clock, so a wrong tap shows and gets fixed by tapping it.
Rallies only, the dead time skipped. Draw on a frame, write a note, reply. On your phone your marks are red and your partner's are cyan; on theirs it's the other way round.
A rally goes out as a clip with its note in the band. A filtered set goes out as a tape, up to ten minutes. The game's stats save as one image for the group chat.
A club camera or a phone on a fence: Tape charts whatever recording you can get. Right now Paul loads each recording. Uploading your own is not built yet.
The tape said 19% of rallies end on a winner. Your games have their own number.
Right now Tape runs for one person, the player who built it, on footage from his club: his own games, and the league nights he runs. The first invites go to the people he plays with.
